about me

Bio

Hi, I am Arpine- a product designer with a background in classical music and education. Those two fields taught me more about people than any framework has.

I performed at Carnegie Hall and KKL Lucerne, directed youth orchestras, and taught through El Sistema–inspired programs before transitioning into digital product design. I hold degrees from the Basel Music Academy and Longy School of Music, and a CareerFoundry UX/UI certification and I brought the same disposition to design that I brought to all of it: stay in the problem long enough to find the answer that actually holds.

I'm drawn to building solutions where user needs and business needs stop being in opposition and start becoming the same answer. I stay curious about the tools, AI-assisted workflows, evolving prototyping methods, whatever the field is moving toward next ,because the work only gets interesting if you move with it.

If that resonates, I'd be glad to connect.

What I Do

I design digital products end-to-end from early research and problem framing through interaction design, prototyping, and handoff.

My focus is on:

User Research and Strategy
User Research and Strategy

understanding who the product is for before deciding what it should do

Interaction & Interface Design
Interaction & Interface Design

translating research into flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity screens that are clear, functional, and considered

Design Systems
Design Systems

building scalable component libraries that make consistency repeatable and handoff clean

Prototyping & Testing
Prototyping & Testing

validating decisions early, iterating on what the feedback actually says, not what was expected

Cross-functional Collaboration
Cross-functional Collaboration

working alongside developers, product managers, and stakeholders to keep design connected to the whole
